Новый роман Джулии Куин будет называться A night like this.
Джулия утверждает, что книга никакого отношения к творчеству группы Cure не имеет. Это чистое совпадение, что вот уже вторая книга Куин носит тоже название, что и песня известной группы. Первая - Just like heaven.
Напомню, что главные герои новой книги - изгнанник Дэниэл Смайт-Смит и загадочная мисс Уинтер.
Представители телеканала CW объявили, что выбрали два новых романа для возможной экранизации. Cynthia Hand - серия Unearthly и Kim Harrison - серия Hоllows.
Поговаривают, что права на экранизацию уже куплены и даже готов сценарий.
У Арлекина может появиться конкурент. Изд-во Entangled Publishing заявило о создании новой линии серийных коротких романов на любой вкус. Сейчас они ищут 12 авторов, чтобы издавать по книге в месяц. Представители издательства утверждают, что их книги будут вовсе не похожи на малышки "ваших мам". Это будут современные книги о жизни современной молодежи.
Посмотрим, что из этого всего получиться. Но в любом случае, здоровая конкуренция - только польза для бизнеса.
