Начну с неприятных новостей. Опять.
Увы, хотелось бы начинать новости по-другому, но не все в романслэнде гладко и красиво.

Ф.К. Каст отличилась и на этот раз. Если вы помните, относительно давно Интернет гремел скандалом. В своей книге Ф.К. Каст позволила себе шутки личного характера о Лорел Хамильтон. Так как я лично не читала ни одну из них, меня тот конфликт не особо взволновал.
Но недавно произошла неприятная история, которая убедила меня и дальше не знакомится с творчеством Ф.К. Каст.
В своих книгах писательница часто использует термин "тормоз, отстающий в развитии". Одну маму это сильно обеспокоило. Мама разместила просьбу не использовать этот термин на сайте Ф.К.Каст, потому что для очень многих это не пустые слова, а личная трагедия.
К этой просьбе Каст отнеслась крайне негативно. Её последующие реплики по этому поводу разочаровали и обидели многих поклонников. Но дальнейший поступок писательницы просто вызвал волну возмущения в Интернете.
Каст перенесла конфликт на страницы своей новой книги. Слово "тормоз, отстающий в развитии" прозвучало из уст анти-героини. Но та же анти-героиня произносит пламенную речь в защиту использования этого слова и положительные герои к ней прислушиваются.
Поведение писательницы лишь доказало её эмоциональную незрелость и неумение воспринимать критику. Как и нежелание прислушиваться к чужому мнению.
В этом вопросе я полностью на стороне негодующих.
Меня не так возмутило использование самого термина писательницей, как  хамское поведение.

David Guterson получил анти-премию за самую отвратительную постельную сцену.
